Pricing is based on the plan you choose (Solo, Team, Elite or Enterprise) and the number of members in your account. You only pay for team members who use Uku — clients access the client portal for free.
Every new signup starts with a 14-day free trial of all Elite features — no credit card required. After 14 days, choose Solo, Team or Elite to keep going.
Solo is a powerful single-accountant tool for up to 20 active clients. It includes all accounting integrations, the Client Portal, document management, AML, custom fields, magic buttons, monitoring, client budgeting, e-signatures, billing, email management, and live chat support.
Solo is built for accountants running their practice solo. 20 active clients is a realistic workload for one person — beyond that, you typically need a teammate, which is what the Team plan is for. Inactive clients don't count toward the limit.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time and your account will remain active until the end of the billing period.
You can upgrade at any time — when upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference. Solo can be chosen on signup or by users currently on the free Solo plan; downgrading from Team or Elite to Solo is not supported.
